I don't see hosts in the network://  environment.
The workgroup called OFFICE, and to be sure I put the name of this workgroup in
gconf-editor /system/smb/workgroup.
If I go into 'Windows Network' there is one host (the first in alfabetical
order) which ask for authorisation, i don't have it, so i have to cancel.
After that, i don't see any hosts. 
In Konqueror there is no problem, so i don't expect a firewall or other access
related issue. For now i'm using the 'Places' -> 'Connect to Server' option.

I see the same thing.  Argh, did this break?  It used to work in NLD 9.

I'll investigate.

Please get gnome-vfs2-2.12.2-16 or later.  Browsing should basically just work there.  We have some known bugs with respect to Active Directory servers, but normal browsing seems to work well.
