After having done an update from Leap 15.4 to Leap 15.5 rdiff-backup isn't working an more due to missing Python packages python3-PyYAML and python3-importlib-metadata.

After manually installing those packages everything works again.

Thanks for the report.

python3-PyYAML has already been added to the requirements in the current Tumbleweed package but python3-importlib-metadata has not as it is only needed before python3.8
I added this as a conditional dependency if python < 3.8, so that it should be required on Leap 15.x

This will go into openSUSE:Factory, soon. I'll also submit to Leap 15.6.
I'll check how much effort it is to send a maintenance request to 15.5 and decide if it is worth the effort ;-)
