Since the upgrade to Plasma 6 of Tumbleweed when opening a PDF file in okular or a txt file in Kate and selecting Print the popup for printing only offers printing to a PDF file.

When using YaST to configure the printer, a HP DeskJet 2720, I can print a test page.

What does `zypper se -i print` return?

If it's not installed yet, check if installing qt6-printsupport-cups helps.

Installation of qt6-printsupport-cups solved the problem.
