## Observation

The most recent change in aaa_base
  https://github.com/openSUSE/aaa_base/pull/136

relies blindly on tput cols to be there and - if not, blindly overwrites TERM in case it is not (whatever the value of TERM was beforehand)

This results in the regression observed by openQA
