AFAICS, the tray icon appears as soon as qsynth receives a midi event The Qsynth applet icon can be selected to display in the system tray. It no longer does that in Plasma 6 - and leaves a blank space with no icon. It does display as soon as vkeyboard is used (a midi event) otherwise it leaves that blank space now. Will be fixed with https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/1164033 Thanks for your help with this. I am not an advanced user. Will this fix be automatically pulled in with a future zypper dup? Or how will I get this fix for the machine? The patch is now in openSUSE:Factory. If it didn't yet, the update will appear in one of the next snapshots. Yes, I see that now. Qsynth applet icon is now displayed in the System Tray. -Thanks |
