Description Egor Petrov 2024-04-01 18:19:30 UTC
So, that's one of the most used effects, and after one of last updates it disappeared.

It would be really nice to return it back :)

Never used this one but there is a "Transform" in the Compositions tab

Can you give more details? the transform effect is visible either on right clicking on a video clip / effects or in the 'Transform, Distort and Perspective' menu when using the effects workshop.

However, I don't see Tranform effect neither in context menu nor in effects tab. Really. Screenshot: https://envs.sh/tGc.png

For example, in Flatpak version of the same version there is Transform effect.

Kdenlive 24.02.1, installed from "Main Repository (OSS)".

P.S. It isn't only my problem: there were also some messages about the same in the Kdenlive Telegram chat, and it was also on openSUSE Tumbleweed: https://t.me/kdenlive/78440

Well, yes, and it also works. However, compositions can't be stacked, so it's less powerful

try `old ~/.config/kdenliverc ~/.cache/kdenlive`

then start kdenlive

if you still don't see the transform effect, open the kdenlive settings and go to the environment tab.

Is there anything missing for 'MLT environment' ?

Didn't help.
