Description Sean Champ 2024-04-05 09:28:42 UTC
Hello,

In the interest of trying to build a ZeroMQ RPM for openSUSE LEAP 15.5, I've created an account for interacting with the OBS service. On creating the account, I received the following email:

```
Dear user spchamp,
we have received your email verification request. To verify
your email address, please follow this link:
https://idp-portal.suse.com/univention/selfservice/#/selfservice/verifyaccount/?token=<seekrit>&username=spchamp&method=verify_email
If the link does not work, you can go to
https://idp-portal.suse.com/univention/selfservice/#/selfservice/verifyaccount/
and enter the following token manually:
<seekrit>
```

Those URLs do not appear to be publicly available.

Happily, I still had the UCS portal page open after creating the account. I was able to verify my email using the provided token, at that page.

While there might be a known workaround as such, I thought it might be helpful to mention.

Thanks, all. Health!
