Description Richard Turner 2024-04-25 19:38:41 UTC
The xman application launches but when trying to display a manpage, a popup appears stating:

"Formatting Manual page, Please Stand By..."

The formatted manpage never appears. Closing the popup kill xman altogether. Accessing various sections of the manpages works fine, just displaying actual manpages is not working.

This behavior is occurring on a KDE/Plasma6 desktop. It doesn't occur on a server system running Tumbleweed but which uses the twm.

I wasn't aware anyone would use xman.

Not sure how KDE/Plasma6 desktop manages to break a simple Xt/Xaw program like xman. But maybe we see a Xwayland issue here? Are you running on Wayland or X11?
