What exactly hangs? Does VT switching still work? Can you upload the journal? Hi, I has just found the situation that made this problem. The following steps are what I had: 1. System hang when use HDMI with Plasma6 and Wayland, I change to X11 -> work 2. After few times update include kernel update -> work 3. Sytem update some additional packages -> not work 4. System update kernel and some packages -> work After step 2 and step 4 happen many times, I found that The Gnome Application Platform package which is required by ProtonVPN (installation from flatpak) update -> system not work. So that I have remove ProtonVPN and required Gnome Runtime Application -> system work. I think may be Gnome Runtime in KDE cause the problem. |
