Tik announced that the install had failed when I used the ~8days old 3.1GB Aeon RC2 candidate image on a system with Yast installed MicroOS Aeon RC1 that used btrfs on LVM. I didn't check if it actually had failed but just installed again with the same result. I then tried to actually boot the install for the first time and apparently everything is working fine.

So..is there a problem with the current RC2 snapshots? 0524 and later?

The 0524 installer fixes this.
