Description Oleksii Rukhlenko 2024-06-20 15:54:24 UTC
If I sleep/wake the laptop multiple times (more than 2-3), then laptop freezes when I try to reboot it or shut it down. Sometimes caps lock is blinking when the laptop is frozen this way. I have to perform force shut down to make it work again.

Hardware: Dell XPS 17 9700
OS: Fresh install of OpenSUSE 15.6 64-bit.

Do you have any crash trace? If LED is flashing, it's usually a kernel panic, and we have a chance to catch it via kdump, too. Care to set up and try to get the crash data?

After recent updates the problem is not actual any more. I cannot say exactly which update made it, but last week this issue has disappeared, maybe before that.
