In Emacs before 29.4, org-link-expand-abbrev in lisp/ol.el expands a %(...) link abbrev even when it specifies an unsafe function, such as shell-command-to-string. This affects Org Mode before 9.7.5.

Reset to default assignee .. .still open the question about the update for SUSE:ALP:Source:Standard:1.0 as requested by the reporter (should this be done by the update for SLFO:Main and if so why is SUSE:ALP:Source:Standard:1.0 mentioned at all)
