I have the problem on my computer in KDE. The mounting of an USB-Stick doesn't
work and /var/log/messages shows:

What is the filesystem on the usb-stick? ext2 or fat/vfat?

please attach the output of lshal (use: 'lshal > /tmp/lshal_log')
