Sounds reasonable to me. I need help from the KDE-maintainers, though. Please decide what should be done. The yast-part should be taken care of by Jiri. I guess this is about a missing feature in krpmview Any news here. It´s very hard to install external packages from within gnome, for example. So please add a menu options "install packages" where I can specify packages on my disk to be installed. could you have a look at krpmview please? actually, I'm confused. Do you want this to be handled by YaST, or by GNOME, or by KDE (== krpmview) ? No answer for four months. Please take a look at openSUSE10.2, and if you stil have problems, open a new bug. |
