What do you mean exactly? Of course, swap space cannot me mounted. And a swap-partition cannot be labeled, because the superblock of a swap-partition does not support a label. Closing this as invalid. Before reporting a bug next time, please ensure the vailidity of your report. If you ment something completly different: Express yourself in a (more verbose and exact) way so misunderstandings can be avoided. Another useful link: http://bugs.opensuse.org you might want to call "man mkswap" to see how to enable swap volume labels, sorry I might have pointed to the mkswap man page earier, I thought this would be obvious to do if you don't know about the feature. And of course you don't mount swap, you enable it :-) Here you see an example fstab entry: LABEL=myswap swap swap pri=42 0 0 It is up to the Project managers to decide about addition of new features. This is ok to add - but I expect this will be done for 10.2. Will consider it for 10.2 Thorsten Kukuk wants this for SLES so I will implement this feature for beta#2. Will be available in beta#2 |
