Description Alexander Lavrinenko 2005-10-17 17:02:24 UTC
My config: Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M3438G with Intel High Definition Audio.
After installation soundcard is detected as snd-hda-intel and all drivers are
loaded. When I enable aRts in control center it starts without problems,
whatever I choose - ALSA, Auto, etc. As soon as I press "Test sound" button I
get the arts crash with the following info (see below). Amarok plays fine via
xine engine.

- ALSA device", but when I press "Test MIDI" button mothing is heard.

Additional information: aRts behaves exactly the same on newly installed i845-based system (intel audio).
