Description Marco Röben 2005-10-19 08:02:48 UTC
I've updated Amarok to 1.3.3 from the KDE supplementary directory. When I'm
importing a new collection Amarok left put mp3s with german umlauts in the id
tag and file name (maybe this is true for all special characters).

I can load these files manually and Amarok diplays all the special characters
just fine. So the problem only occurs in the database.

I use sqlite as databse backend. For Amarok 1.3.1, which is shipped with SL
10.0, everything works fine. I use UTF8 systemwide. Maybe there is some UTF8
support missing for the database?

there's a misspelling in the second line: it should be "...Amarok left out mp3s..."
Comment 2 Stephan Kulow 2005-10-19 08:20:23 UTC
please use bugs.kde.org for amarok bugs unless we're in beta. supplementary is not supported in any way beside the way it is.

DON't report a kde bug report! its already fixed. I'll check in a new amarok for supplementary.
