Hmm, this behavior is intentional because in a minimal graphical installation neither KDE nor Gnome is installed. yast will choose a default in that case and this default is XDM and TWM. We have currently two choices: 1) fvwm2 is installed because this one is used for the installation process as well 2) windowmaker is installed but very bad internationalized The question is what do we prefere ? Is a novice user able to use fvwm2 ? I will change the default if we agree to one default. I would suggest adding a selector for default_wm if xdm is selected. Neither WM nor FVWM2 is a back choise in the sense that its clearly a wm started and ppl will be aware there is a logical way to continue. (As long time user i would prefer fvwm2 in place of WM.) I changed the default from twm to fvwm2 |
