Description Alexander Lavrinenko 2005-10-20 05:44:43 UTC
Hello,

My config:
1. SUSE 10.1 box with KDE
2. Windows 2003 Server RUS box
My xorg.conf keyboard-related settings are:
Section "InputDevice"
  Driver "kbd"
  Identifier "Keyboard[0]"
  Option "Protocol" "Standard"
  Option "XkbLayout" "us,ru"
  Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
  Option "XkbOptions" "grp:ctrl_shift_toggle,grp_led:scroll"
  Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
  Option "XkbVariant" ",winkeys"
EndSection
I use kxkb, switching rus/eng is done with Ctrl+Shift (ISO_Prev_Group in
Keyboard Shortcuts in Kontrol Centre).

Now what's wrong with krdc:
my resolution is 1280x1024. When I connect to win2003server at 1024x768 or
lower, it opens remote windows desktop in window that I can move around KDE
desktop. In this case keyboard input is possible into windows. If I set
resolution to my X11 (1280x1024), remote windows desktop opens fullscreen with
KDE's "Pin/Configure/Minimize/Close" applet at the top. Mouse input is ok, but
keyboard is dead. It doesn't matter which keyboard layout I set in krdc
settings dialog.
