Description Martin Vidner 2005-10-20 08:03:27 UTC
I run nm-applet without the full GNOME. Originally it displayed fine but now its
icon only shows its left half. See the attached screenshot. I also attach the
list of installed packages.

The problem may have started when I ran gnome-panel but before it started
completely I interrupted it and ran ktray, a standalone notification area,
instead. In it, nm-applet was clipped too.

I have no idea where to even begin with this one -- no one has reported it yet. It is almost surely due to the not-complete GNOME setup.

Does the icon ever start working? Say, after it changes?

Is that the GNOME panel it is displayed in or some other Xdg-compliant notification area?

Same here, nm-applet is offset in the kde system tray.

The applet works but the pixmap is always offset, even after changing pixmaps.

offset pixmap in kde system tray.

The effect is also present when the panel is horizontal.

Going to follow in the vein of #136653 and mark this WONTFIX.
