Description David Sherman 2005-10-21 16:13:43 UTC
I installed Suse 10, under Vmware 4.52. I had a 10 gb partition. I used the
default setting so I had 1 gb. swat file and 9 gb. Linux partition. On total
shutdown and reboot. I get then a grub error. System 10.
It happen twice under Vmware. It looks like this bug(feature) has been around
since Suse 9.2. (I googled it).

IMHO this is a problem of Vmware. There is AFAIK not
point that we support Vmware.
Comment 2 David Sherman 2005-10-24 13:45:38 UTC
It is not a problem with Vmware.

Before I reported this item, I did a google for

linux Suse "error 18".

Again, it is a problem with Suse not Vmware.

thanks
