When I try to save console history to file by choosing "Edit"->"Save 
history"->file name input Konsole crashes. This happens on saving long 
history, one or two screens are saved with no problems.

works fine for me. Please update to alpha2 and give us a backtrace

A2 is unable to bring KDE for me :( Not even KDM login screen.

You read the annoying bugs list for alpha2? Run fc-cache -f

Well, alpha2 konsole seems to save long history correctly.
