Description Axel Braun 2005-10-24 15:23:38 UTC
Several sources for installation are maintained: DVD as well as ftp.
When trying to install packages, and the DVD is not inserted, YaST hangs even
when the DVD is inserted afterwards. DVD has to be in at the first glance, or
session has to be killed

It looks like a problem with two DVD drives - according to the log, you have /dev/hdc and /dev/hdd, right?

Michael, why does media backend check only one of the drives? (see the end of the attached log)
Comment 5 Axel Braun 2005-12-02 17:12:23 UTC
hdc is a DVD, hdd a cd-burner
