When you set the sliders in KMix to "Vertical", they look like this:

When you set them to "Horizontal", they look like this:

I think it should be the opposite.

right, it's confusing. It's no bug though, just a misunderstanding between you and the author :)

The wording should be fixed to say "Channel list layout" instead of Orientation, as that's misleading. But then I guess the dialog needs to be a shifted to have the options under each other.

I'd prefer the current title, but with the opposite behavior. Or maybe it should be even called "Slider orientation".

I don't think that "Slider orientation" makes it better. how about "Left to Right" and "Top to down" instead?

or is that offensive to RTL users?

No, Dirk's version is not complex IMHO. But his version doesn't solve the issue I raised in the first place - it's still confusing. Imagine being a user that reads "Top to down". Does this mean "the first slider is on top, the second is right below it, etc" or does this mean "you slide the thingie up and down"?
So I'm against your version, too, Dirk.
