When running "obconf", the following messages are produced:

and associated functionality like the "Close" button, or changes to Desktops
-> Number of desktops is missing (the UI elements are there, the changes
one should be able to make with them don't work).

When I run the "obconf" binary from Debian unstable (1.5-3) against this
installation (just the binary - no additional files from the Debian
package), things work fine.
