Description Lars Müller 2005-10-26 10:51:59 UTC
At the moment we download all selected delta RPMs and then apply all delta RPMs.

This results in extra time when you maintain a remote system.

Therfore I suggest to download a delta RPM, apply the delta as a background process, and download further files in the foreground.

Then we only have to wait for the last delta to get applied after the last download.

We should ensure to only apply one delta at the same time.

Ludwig, is this feasible?
Comment 2 Ludwig Nussel 2005-10-26 13:10:52 UTC
Not with the current code but if it's rewritten from scratch it would certainly be nice to have.
Comment 3 Michael Radziej 2005-10-26 13:18:53 UTC
Klaus, please add it to the feature document
