Description Joe Shaw 2005-10-28 15:40:13 UTC
I'm trying to import an mp3 into my library through the file menu.

Here's the output to the console:

[joe@platitude ~]$ banshee
0: Active Player Engine is now 'GStreamer'
1: Loaded PlayerEngine core: GStreamer
2: Loaded AudioCdPlayerEngine core: GStreamer
3: Audio CD Core Initialized
4: Registered Banshee.SqlLoadTransaction
5: Executing Banshee.SqlLoadTransaction

(Banshee:19855): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_file_system_path_is_local: assertion `path != NULL' failed
6: Registered Banshee.FileLoadTransaction
7: Executing Banshee.FileLoadTransaction

It says "Preloading files 0/1" and the spinner is spinning. The app also hangs if I try to quit while this is going on and I have to kill it.

This is with the 0.9.7.1-5 package from PLUS.

This is working fine for me with 0.9.10, importing a file from nfs.

Anything potentially wonky about the filesystem from which you're importing? Importing a single file, not a directory, right?

I can't duplicate this anymore with 0.9.10.
