Description Cameron Meadors 2005-10-28 15:43:13 UTC
Having upgraded my SUSE LINUX 10.0 to STABLE, I noticed that I could no longer login to my GWIM account with Gaim. After investigating, I realized that if I down graded to the gnutls in 10.0 GWIM accounts worked again.

Broken version: 1.2.8-2
Good version: 1.2.5-3

please give me more details. Whats exactly failing? "could no longer
login to my GWIM account with Gaim" is not very verbose.

When I try to login to my GWIM account, I get a dialog immediately that says "SSL connection failed". In Ethereal I could see the TLS handshake and then the coversation just ends. What other infomation would you like?
Comment 3 Hendrik Vogelsang 2005-10-31 14:42:16 UTC
the Ethereal log for instance.
Comment 4 Cameron Meadors 2005-11-03 14:59:41 UTC
The problem seems to have gone away. I update some other packages. gnutls must have exposed a problem with something else.
