Description Jorge Godoy 2005-10-29 00:56:35 UTC
After installing the new Alpha2 for OpenSuSE 10.1 I noticed that the free alternative to ATI drivers -- radeon -- is missing from the package xorg-x11-server. I'm running

jupiter:~ # rpm -q xorg-x11-server
xorg-x11-server-6.8.2-109
jupiter:~ #

Thanks for your attention.

I have no idea what kind of Alpha2 you're using, but it's not missing on the Alpha2 I did use.

#rpm -qpl xorg-x11-server-6.8.2-107.x86_64.rpm |grep radeon
/usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/drivers/radeon_drv.so

#rpm -qpl xorg-x11-server-6.8.2-107.i586.rpm |grep radeon
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/radeon_drv.so
