Kde installation, than add all GNOME packages.

Configure KDE behaviour to NOT "show icons on desktop".

Play around in KDE eg. use firefox and save a few webpages, open a few folders with Konqueror. Suddenly, you will noticed that the folder views will change into gnome (eg, KDE folders are blue, gnome are brown).

When this happends, go to the desktop and you notice that the particular desktop you are on, will show GNOME desktop (gnome icons present) on top of your KDE wallpaper.

The mouse "wheel over desktop background switches background desktop" function will no longer work on THAT particular desktop. (e.g. if you have 4 desktop, 3 will act like any normal KDE desktop).

The affected desktop will never change back to KDE.

Besides SUSE10, seems like this also happens in SUSE 9.2.
