Sorry, should have been "for more than a minute" and "the keyboard is inaccessible". Here is the certification document at Novell, which led to my purchase of the IBM Thinkpad t42p. The only difference is another gigabyte of RAM, so I have 2 Gb. http://developer.novell.com/yes/79715.htm I give up on this one, and will first try 10.0 on the t42p. I have now installed opensuse 10.0 GM, and want to report that there are no problems with the touchpad. Somewhere between 10.0 and 10.1 alpha2 something got broken. mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy) mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy) this is fixed mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy) Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED. In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;( |
