Description Timur Mehrvarz 2005-11-02 16:00:00 UTC
My current wireless keyboard Trust Easy Scrioll Optical deskset 360 (http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=13094) is not supported by SUSE 10.0. Of course I can use its standard features but I cannot use the extra keys/scroll wheels. Additionally its seems not possible to activate the numlock under KDE -> keypad is useless to input numbers.

It would be usefull if Yast/SaX could setup it properly during the installation.

Marcus,
I think such features are managed by the vendor's special device driver. It is not possible to fix this problem, this is a task for the vendor.
Please close this bug if I'm right.

You can try to use one of the various internet keyboard types available.
See the sax2 keyboard module or the KDE/Gnome keyboard settings for details.
If you cannot find an appropriate model it is most likely not supported by
the XKB extension yet. In such a case only a special keyboard driver or
an extension to the evdev driver could help

Unfortunately this is nothing we implement
I'm sorry
