This is still the case with SUSE Linux 10.1 It also happens when you restore the iPod to factory settings (using the respective Windows or MacOS application provided by Apple). I found that gtkpod has an special menu item called "Create iPod directories" to address this issue. When selecting that menu, gtkpod asks "OK to create the following directories?" /media/ipod/Calendars /media/ipod/Contacts /media/ipod/iPod_Control /media/ipod/iPod_Control/Music /media/ipod/iPod_Control/iTunes /media/ipod/iPod_Control/Music/F00 ... /media/ipod/iPod_Control/Music/F19 You can download the program that is used to reset an iPod to factory settings from <http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/> in case you want to reproduce. this got fixed with 1.4.4. can you confirm? considered as fixed until proven otherwise. |
