Kaffeine checks if the file /usr/share/xine/skins/xine-ui_logo.mpv exists which you should have if you install an uncrippled xine-lib including xine-ui. Does kaffeine need xine-lib (if not sorry for reopening this bug)? I only install an uncrippled sine but no xine-lib as I don´t need it (and kaffeine does play mp3s well without xine-ui).AFAIK xine-ui is a GUI for xine-lib just like kaffeine is, so kaffeine shouldn´t need xine-ui. . Message box now also checks for /usr/share/doc/packages/xine/README.SuSE |
