http://openvpn.net/changelog.html

I know that 2.0.4 won't show up for 10.0, but this may be an important item to consider for what will be backported due to earlier security reports.

2005.11.02 -- Version 2.0.5

* Fixed bug in Linux get_default_gateway function
introduced in 2.0.4, which would cause redirect-gateway
  on Linux clients to fail.
* Restored easy-rsa/2.0 tree (backported from 2.1 beta
  series) which accidentally disappeared in
  2.0.2 -> 2.0.4 transition.
Comment 1 Peter Poeml 2005-11-09 12:20:08 UTC
Those two bugs are NOT in 2.0.2 which ships with 10.0.

Thus, there is nothing to fix.

Security bugs present in 2.0.2 on 10.0 have been fixed separately.

Thanks for the report anyway.
Comment 2 Jon Nelson 2005-11-09 15:57:38 UTC
My concern is that when the bugfixes that were fixed in 2.0.4 were backported to the 2.0.2 package that the /bug/ in 2.0.4 was also backported, necessitating the backport of the bugfix(es) in 2.0.5 as well.

If that's already been taken care of, that's fine. I'll be filing a seperate bug for openvpn 2.0.5 inclusion in 10.1
Comment 3 Jon Nelson 2005-11-09 16:01:14 UTC
I see that 2.0.5 is already included. Bonus.
Comment 4 Peter Poeml 2005-11-10 09:54:00 UTC
Don't worry, the backported security fixes have nothing to do with the
other 2.0.4 changes.
