Description Jason Adams 2005-11-09 18:00:46 UTC
after starting the install from cd1 numerous times with various options, the end result is the same. when the system reboots and asks for cd 2 the install routine doesn't see the cd. i've tried converging all cd into a dvd image, but same thing, in fact on reboot it won't even recognize my dvd-rom drive. i got fed up with it and just downloaded 10.0 and everything worked fine. oh i was trying to install 10.1 alpha 2. i really wanted to try out kde 3.5 but i guess i'll have to wait until a release candidate ver is avail.

This is a duplicate of bug #131739
Please recover the yast2-logfiles from this installation and add them as an attachment to bug #131739. Some information about your machine would also be helpful (hwinfo). Recovery can be done by mounting the broken system with a life system for example.
