1) xlock is not integrated with the desktop. But AFAIK galago project and gnome-screensaver plans to provide such information via D-BUS. 2) Yes, there is a lack of notification when window is already opened. I guess it's duplicate of bug 127964 comment 1. I'm not so sure it should go offline, possibly it should make you idle though. "idle" would be okay as well. The problem is, "idle" is not listed as an option if you click the "Away" button ;) Do you mean "Appear Offline"? Pidgin has resolved 2) and for 1) pidgin sets you as away if the screensaver is running so this is also resolved in a way. |
