Description George Ellison 2005-11-13 22:16:23 UTC
While evaluating the LiveDVD version of SUSE Linux 10.0, the installation did
not detect my Ethernet or sound hardware. To get it to work, I had to manually
modprobe modules for ethernet (via-rhine) and audio (snd-via82xx).

Please, attach 'hwinfo --sound' and 'hwinfo --netcard' output.
Comment 2 George Ellison 2005-11-15 16:28:39 UTC
Created attachment 57393 [details]
Requested hwinfo --netcard and hwinfo ---sound

Here is the requested information. I had to load the
ethernet module to post this, however, and hwinfo
reflects that.

The devices are detected correctly. Please, try configuring the devices in yast and then attach y2log (see http://www.opensuse.org/Bug_Reporting_FAQ#YaST).
