Description Egbert Eich 2005-11-14 10:27:06 UTC
The attempt to set up an encrypted fs on a logical volume using YaST fails.
Using the LVM menu in the YaST partitioner and marking the 'Encryption' checkbox (reiserfs, other values to default) caused YaST to generate the password screen - however the resulting partition contained a normal (unencrypted) reiserfs.

It is possible that stacking lvm and crypto in the dm isn't possible. However if this is the case YaST should warn about this.

Please provide the YaST2 log of the installation.

I was not able to reproduce this with SL 10.1 beta#1, so probably this is a bug
that has been fixed meanwhile.

Please retry with beta of SL 10.1 and reopen if there are still problems.
