Description Michael Stather 2005-11-18 12:07:24 UTC
qmake is installed with qt3-devel, but to /usr/lib/qt3/bin, which is not in the path. Some programs require this to compile, and for them I´ve to create a symlink. IMHO the utils from qt3-devel should be installed in the path or symlinks should be created.
Comment 1 Dirk Mueller 2005-11-18 12:25:41 UTC
we can't create the symlinks because Qt4 is installing its qmake in /usr/bin/make

we currently don't have divergation support in SUSE afaik.
Comment 2 Stephan Kulow 2005-11-18 12:36:03 UTC
we should install /etc/profile.d/qt3.* to change the PATH.
Comment 3 Michael Stather 2005-11-18 12:50:30 UTC
IMHO QT3 support is muich more important than QT4. If people want QT4 they are developers anyway and they know what´s wrong.
Comment 4 Stephan Kulow 2005-11-18 13:10:34 UTC
how does that differ for people wanting Qt3?
Comment 5 Dirk Mueller 2005-11-23 09:21:36 UTC
fixed for 10.1
