Unsure if this is related to the performance issues documented in #133901.

At install time SuSEconfig.fonts takes almost 5 minutes to complete
(zx6000 10gb RAM 2x900mhz I2  2x36gb u320 disk)

Please update to fontconfig 2.3.92 - there were some not insignificant changes for ia64
