Lars, can you have a look please of what may go wrong here, and help diagnose? I'm not familiar enough with samba. Could you please try to use cifs instead of smbfs? smbfs is no longer maintained while cifs is. A share containing unicode filenames mounted with cifs works well. As this works with cifs I adjust the severity to minor. No reaction on this bug for a long time. Closing as CANTFIX. Wontfix is right as smbfs got removed from the SUSE kernel. Please use cifs instead. |
