Description Axel Braun 2005-11-21 11:14:16 UTC
A SuSE 9.3 was upgraded via YaST -> System upgrade to 10.0 using a DVD. Upgrade itself went smooth, but YOU is still looking for version 9.3 for online updates.

Could you, please, attach logs from the upgrade? Did you boot from 10.0 CD, or upgraded from the running system?
Comment 2 Axel Braun 2005-11-24 13:13:22 UTC
I upgraded from the running system, as there were some problems reading the DVD when booting from CD.
BTW, how I can I tell YOU to take version 10.0?

Best approach is to boot from original medium and do an upgrade.
Alternatively, you might edit the highest numbered prod_xxxx file below /var/adm/YaST/ProdDB/ and change URL: (and probably other keys)
with the values from /content (on the original medium).

Agree, but as mentioned: For whatever reason the package DB could not be read when booting 10.0 from CD. Out of the running system it worked.

Obsoleted with SL10.1
