Description clive shearsby 2005-11-22 10:14:12 UTC
hello there

this is not a specific bug, and it is not opensuse specific either.

i have SuSE 9.2, SuSE9.2 and SuSE10 on this machine.

when booting it gets it's restore information from my swap partition.
this can be problematic if another OS has written to that swap area.

therefore i amend the line to store its settings on its own partition.

perhaps when Grub sets up the boot options it could be flagged as a possible conflict.

regards

clive

The data can be stored to the swap only. If you want to have multiple systems and use swsusp, it's upt to you to create multiple swap partitions and adjust them to the system. Sorry, but there is nothing to be done to help you...
