Description Peter Gunreben 2005-11-22 14:28:52 UTC
when trying to uninstall nfs-utils via yast2 or rpm -e, I get the following
error: %preun(nfs-utils-1.0.7-13) scriptlet failed, exit status 6. Neither yast2 nor rpm was able to uninstall this package. To overcome this problem, I used rpm -e --nopreun nfs-utils, but this is not really a solution to the problem.

The system was a completely fresh standard installation of SuSE 10.0 with KDE.

the init scripts for some of the services are broken, stopping a not running
service is not supposed to return an error.

fixed for next release aka STABLE

aj: fix for 10.0 ?

N, let's not update 10.0.

Since it's fixed for the next release: Resolving as FIXED
