I was answering a letter by some chinese guy. interestingly the 
english spellcheck tried to fix the chinese characters. obvious it does not make sense.

(i have a screen shot to ilustrate the problem but where can i upload now ?)

Please attach the screenshot here to this bug (the feature is almost at the bottom of this page).
This report is for the experimental Thunderbird on the FTP server?

The problem occurs on the latest version with SuSE 10.0 stable.

This should be filed and fixed upstream.

I tried this (spell checking while replying to Chinese email) with MozillaThunderbird 2.0.0.6, and it's working now.  Resolving FIXED.
