Description Alan Olsen 2005-11-25 03:37:06 UTC
Typing into a terminal app will occasionally freeze or delay for up to 60 seconds. All the characters are in the buffer, but the display to the screen does not occur. The time appears to be variable. It is more often to occur when switching to a new window or not having typed anything for a while. It is quite annoying. A Google search has not given me any clues to cause or any other occurances or information.

please provide more information:

- something in messages or ~/.xsession-errors when it happens?
- is something mounted via remote fs (nfs)?

Sorry, but I have to close this bug because of the missing information. If you can provide them, please reopen this report and attach the file(s).

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
