The framebuffer X-Server crashes on my system at the beginning of the installation and also when I try to run sax2 manually. My graphics card is a very old S3 Virge PCI card. Xorg.0.log is attached.

I'm setting this to NORMAL since S3 ViRGE PCI cards are not really common any more. BTW, I'm not aware of anyone, who still have a S3 ViRGE baord for testing available.
