When I view a Groupwise spam filtered message report in tbird (an html message), The subjects are not visible unless I mouse over them.  I'll attach a screenshot.  Both KMail and the OSX mail client went through this phase in their development as well.

The one subject that is visible in this screenshot is the one I had the mouse over at the time.

It turns out this is a "feature" of Groupwise.  Who would have guessed?
