Description Kurt Garloff 2005-11-30 02:23:55 UTC
build.rpm fails to set up a build root on SUSE Linux 10.0,
because it installs info before libzio, and then the install-info script
that's part of texinfo's %post does fail. The PreReq seems to be there,
so it appears to be a bug with the PreReq dependency resolution in the
build.rpm script.
Sidenote: Dirk H has a hacked build script with this fixed/worked around.

The trouble with this bug is that we recommend our partners and customers to
use build.rom for building software in a controlled and reproducible way.
This is in particular needed for kernel modules that can be used for the
kernel-update-tool. Thus the major prio.

The trouble with this bug is that I can't reproduce it...
Comment 2 Michael Schröder 2005-12-01 16:14:03 UTC
It turned out that reordering doesn't work if rpm thinks that the free disk space is too low. Lowering severity to "minor".
Aj, do you want an update for 10.0?

Yes, please update. SWAMP ID is Maintenance-Tracker-3086.
